Correction: the Blender is good

It's been 4 days since my jaw dropping, er... breaking,  accident and I can already see some signs of improvement, albeit only some. I can at least touch both sides of my teeth together and talk normally. In fact, you may not even be able to tell I have a fractured jaw if you saw me. Now if you saw me eat that might give it away...

Since I cannot chew anything for a month, thats right a month, I have to liquefy everything I eat. It's not as bad as it sounds, most of the time I prepare everything like usual but add one extra step...put it in the blender! Some times  I have to add some milk, or fruit juice so that say...a chicken breast or a bowl of pasta will blend. It's great for digestion too!

Also did my first ride since sunday today, on the trainer of course. I will be on the trainer for a little while until its ok to head out to the open road. I can ride fine of course, your jaw doesn't do much when your riding except mash up the occasional power bar, but its the vibrations and bumps of the road that keeps me on the trainer. They don't sit well with a fracture in your jaw bone. I'm going to give it a week, then I will do a test ride around the block and see.

If anyone has any good blender recipes I would love to try some new ones out!

  1. man, that sucks - sorry to hear about it!

    Try this blender recipe:
ice, sour mix, OJ, Patron Silver and GM. Blend that, top off with lime. Should set you straight.

    Shop says what up.
